Portfolio Prep Course for Architecture Application.
8-class Portfolio Prep Course designed to strengthen your application to the Architecture program at any Undergraduate College in USA. The focus of this course is not only on creating strong portfolio pieces beyond school projects, but also on helping you think, present, and communicate like a young designer.
Each class is 1 hour long, structured as:
30 minutes teaching, demonstration, or discussion of new material
30 minutes review and critique of your assignment from the previous class
By the end of the program, you will have a thoughtful, well-presented portfolio that shows creativity, observation, design thinking, and cultural awareness.
By the end of the 8 classes, you will have:
Observational sketches
Abstract compositions
A small design project (concept sketches, models, photos)
A cultural/reflective map project
A first draft portfolio with 6–10 strong, well-presented pieces
This course is meant to guide you step by step while giving you freedom to develop your unique voice as a designer. With focused teaching and personalized feedback, you will build a portfolio that reflects your strengths, creativity, and readiness for architecture school.
